For book number two of my spring break reading list, I enlisted Nicholas Sparks' The Best of Me. I'm a sucker for a good Nicholas Sparks' book a la The Choice or The Lucky One, but I just wasn't thrilled with this one.Without delving too deeply into the plot of the novel, I'll tell you that it involves love, and loves lost. It involves a semi-predictable twist at the end, and a whole lot of southern charm. If nothing else, it was a great way to mark another tally off of my Future 101 goal of reading 25 new books). Not a bad way to spend a day at the beach, if I do say so myself.
